Hugh Hoffman

Hugh Hoffman graduated in Psychology from the University of Edinburgh in 1966. He subsequently spent most of his career working in market research, setting up System Three Scotland in 1974 as the first full service market research company in Scotland; and has run his own consultancy, Hoffman Research Company, since 1981. Hugh has undertaken research in areas such as banking, insurance and public services and has been involved in a number of novel approaches to public consultation such as Citizens' Juries. Hugh was elected a Fellow of the Market Research Society in 2005 having been the first chairman of the Scottish branch of the Society. He is now an external lecturer at the University of Dundee and contributes to the Diploma in International Marketing.
