Fu-Min Tseng holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Nottingham. He was appointed as a Research Fellow in Health Economics at the University of Dundee in 2011. He has previously worked as a Research Assistant at the China Medical University, Taiwan.

Fu-Min's research interests are Health Economics, Happiness Economics, and Policy Evaluation. His PhD research was to investigate the effects of socioeconomic status on mortality in Taiwan, and to evaluate the effect of pension reform in Taiwan on health outcomes, for example, self-assessed health, depression, and life satisfaction. Currently, he is working on exploring the socioeconomic cost of bereavement in Scotland and using NHS administrative data to explore the cost-effectiveness of drug and alcohol treatment programmes. He is also a member of Dundee Health Economics Group.
