David joined the School as a lecturer in 2011 from Dundee Business School where he had lectured in Accounting from 1996. Prior to that he had specialised in corporate tax with Ernst & Young where he qualified as a chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser. Using that experience, David now teaches Taxation and Fiscal Studies and also lectures in Professional Financial Management and Management Accounting within our School.
Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. I served on the Institute's Tax Law Rewrite committee, commenting on rewritten legislation, from 1999 to 2002, and have also been involved in the local ICAS Tax Discussion group.
