This restored 19th century jute mill tells the story of Dundee's former pre-eminence in the world's jute industry and was the winner of European Industrial Museum of the Year in 1999.

A short drive north of Dundee is one of Scotand's most famous castles. Glamis Castle is the childhood home of HM The Queen Mother and the legendary setting for Shakespeare's Macbeth.
