N_ILK at the Botanics

Now in its 3rd year, the n_ilk festival returns with another incredible line-up of performances including sets from Lukid, Architeq, Samoyed, Jonnie Common, Rhythmachine and many more.

Garden of Light - Walk the World

For two nights in February 2010, visitors will be able to walk through the extensive grounds of the University Of Dundee Botanic Gardens and experience a spectacular display of light and sound.

Join DBS Productions for an evening of love, revenge and hidden identities in Shakespeare's comedy - The Merchant of Venice. Follow the trail of mayhem left by Bassanio and Antonio across Venice as they find that some lines of credit are more costly than they could have imagined! Can Portia and Nerissa save their friends and lovers in time, or will they find that a pound of flesh is the only currency they have left to barter with?
An outdoor performance ensuring a summer evening of fun and laughter in the Botanic Gardens!
This is an outdoor event, please dress appropriately.

Bonhams at the Botanics - Charity Valuation Day, 11am-3pm. Entry to Valuation Marquee by ticket only - available from Garden Reception.
Specialists will be available to give valuations, and there will be an opportunity to consign goods to forthcoming Bonhams sales.
Valuations by donation, £5 per item, or three items for £10, proceeds to the Friends of the University of Dundee Botanic Garden Endowment Fund.
Bee Fruitful and Multiply, artist Emma Lindsey BA Hons will be presenting her work at 2pm (This is the McCarrison Society Scottish Group Art prize 2011)
The installation will be in the Garden from 13th June 2011
