Enquiry Service
The Archives staff will usually do up to half an hour's free research on
behalf of anyone unable to visit the office in person. Any research taking longer than half an hour is subject to a charge. Please contact the Archives staff for further details.
We do not carry out research if it involves collections belonging to other archive services in Scotland. There are a number of websites which the general
researcher can use to explore records in Scotland and the UK - please check our links page
