V&A in Dundee Latest Developments

V&A Dundee design by Japanese-based architects Kengo Kuma and Associates

The Government (with cross party support) have pledged a £5m primer fund plus 'significant' sums toward the capital cost of building the V&A. We will now move to formally appoint Kengo Kuma and other members of the design team as well as project managers to assist in procuring the whole V&A project.

The school will have an ongoing role through my position on the 'Building Team' and so please feel free to impart any observations you might have to add to the dialogue and I will keep you abreast of progress with short monthly bulletins.

We expect to invite Kengo Kuma to give a public lecture soon and I will keep you informed as the timescale firms-up.

Graeme Hutton, Dean.
