I came to Dundee for a year as an exchange student. I was studying in France and my school told me that it was possible to go to study in Scotland for one year. I did it because at first I wanted to improve my English, but also because I wanted to discover another country. I had to choose between Glasgow and Dundee, and I chose Dundee because I heard it was a good university.

The quality of the teaching here is very good - the class was not big, so it was good and easy to ask any questions. I've really enjoyed tudying concrete and steel.

My best University experience was the ceilidh dinner because I discovered a lot of things about Dundee and Scotland. The welcome at the beginning of the year was also very good. I've also enjoyed being involved with the triathlon club and practising sports at the ISE which is a very good place to do sport with a lot of room and machines.

Settling in to life here was easy - I was living in a residence which is in the University, so I was close to everything. Welcome Week was also very good at the University with the marquee in front of the Union. Dundee is a very beautiful city also and I was very happy to be there. It is not too big and busy like Glasgow, and the University campus is not too far away from the city centre.

Overall, I had a very good time in Scotland and met a lot of nice people. Dundee is an ideal city for international students because there are a lot students coming from all over the world and it is a small city so it is easy to find what you want and you are not lost.
