Tharik came to us from India and graduated in 2010 with an MSc in Biomedical Engineering.
Dundee is the one of the top universities in UK, especially for Medical Sciences.
My course helped to bridge the gap between engineers and medical professionals. I was lucky to be able to study about advanced medical technologies as well as biomechanics.
The Library comes out on top. It's vast, versatile, secure, easily accessible and has long opening hours.
Welcome Week, without a doubt. It was a fantastic way for new students to get to know about University activities within a week, and there were lots of fun events and activities to get involved in.
As I booked my accomodation with the University residences, I received a royal welcome to the University and reached my clean and neat residence without any hassle. The Students' Union in particular made it easy for me to get settled into university life, and to get to know the city of Dundee.
It took me a while to get used to the weather, and to find my way around. But due to support from both staff and students, I became comfortable. The cost of living also concerned me at first, but after finding University shops and the Tesco supermarket, it wasn't a problem.
