Rubina Khanal

Rubina, from Kathmandu, Nepal, is studying for a BSc in Biomedical Sciences.

When I finished my Advanced Higher (I went to Perth High School), I was looking for a university for higher education and I was particularly interested in Chemistry and Biology. The University of Dundee grabbed my attention as I was looking for universities with Life Sciences Courses. I loved Scotland and wanted to go to university in Scotland. So, Dundee, came to my sight as it is one of the top University in Life Sciences.

The best thing about my course is that I can study modules from different subjects at the same time. For example, I am doing Physiology and Pharmacology modules now, and the way in which these two fields are interrelated fascinates me. This coming summer, I also hope to take part in a student work placement.
