Naomi Aird, graduated in Forensic Anthropology in 2012.
Dundee University is one of the few universities in the UK that offers an undergraduate degree in Forensic Anthropology. In addition, I've visited the city many times since childhood and love the atmosphere. The city has undergone a major regeneration in recent years, with the result that it is vibrant and energetic - a brilliant place to study and live!
There aren't many places that offer an undergraduate degree in Forensic Anthropology. The resources are amazing and the staff are all friendly and helpful. I really valued the opportunity to disect while studying anatomy, as I found it so much easier to learn from the bodies than just from looking at pictures. The juvenile osteology collection is a fantastic resource and made it easier to visualise the osteological development of the individual bones.
