Compared to the Italian one, the best thing about it is the separation of the marks between practical and theoretical exams (eg. scientific production vs final examination)
First approach to the scientific production (review and book research), and an improvement in my English.
Some of the events that were arranged for international students, such as the guided visits to Scotland's places of interest. I have also enjoyed DUVC (Dundee University Volleyball Club) and the related experiences.
Volleyball, and I have also used the swiming pool and the gym.
I settled in quite fast as soon I joined the sport club but was completely frozen at the very beginning (first couple of weeks).
It's important to have as good a knowledge of English as possible, and the Scottish accent is quite different from school English.
Also, the university accomodation is wonderful but students don't need such a perfect place to live in since they spend most of their time out of the house. I therefore suggest to share a private flat.
The EU is not so different to the UK, you can find whatever you want, wherever you are in the EU (such as LIDL or other big chains).
