Marcelo, from Venezuela, graduated with an MSc in International Business.
Due to my strong interest in the business field and in order to strengthen my intercultural competencies I decided to enroll in a Masters in International Business at the University of Dundee.
At the beginning I was a little anxious since I did not possess an economic background, but with some extra effort and with the support of the welcoming lecturers I was able to satisfactorily complete all the taught modules of the Masters.
Additionally the University offered free English language development courses for international students, which were particularly helpful to develop the essential skills required to improve my performance on the coursework.
Furthermore, I enrolled on a German Language course offered by the University during the evenings. This allowed me to increase my language skills while having a pleasant and memorable time.
Overall my time at Dundee was filled with invaluable experiences, students can benefit from a state of the art gym and sport facilities, IT suites, libraries and online books/journals and not to mention the "Student Union" which grants affordable leisure activities and meals.
Finally the locals are remarkably friendly and the city vibe is youthful and jovial. There are many things to see and do in Scotland, it is a beautiful country with many wild and natural landscapes.
