Lei Shen, 沈镭 from China, graduated with an LLM in Mineral Law and Policy in 2002.

Lei Shen is currently Professor and Deputy Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Security, Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research (IGSNRR), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Secretary-General of China Society of Natural Resources (CSNR).

现为中国自然资源学会秘书长(兼)、常务理事，中国青藏高原研究会理事，《自
然资源学报》、《资源科学》、《亚热带资源与环境学报》编委，世界银行“社区与
小矿”（CASM）战略管理顾问委员会委员及中国区域网络（CASM-China）负责
人。世界银行高级顾问、辽宁省阜新市和甘肃省白银市政府顾问，2008 年世界
矿业部长论坛（World Mine Ministry Forum）学术委员会委员。中国地质大学(武
汉)客座教授(1995-1997)，中国地质大学（北京）兼职博导（2003-2005），中国
科学院研究生院聘任教授（2006-至今）。
