Hiroshi Yoshimura came from Japan, to study Masters in Medical Education.
I came here with my family (my wife and three daughters) to study Masters in Medical Education, and at first I was quite anxious about how our family would settle in here on top of my study.
This was really excellent to talk with students from other countries. Mark was really a talent for effective teaching. My speciality is not medicine itself but its education, so I learned a lot from him about how to teach young fellows.
My wife and our children enjoyed one very nice Scottish family and even in this short period, We are very lucky that we have been able to communicate with Scottish people and this is also very important for us other than just studying abroad.
Malcolm and Ruth made a great support and hospitality for us, international students and the family. We enjoyed Guy Fawkes night, Christmas, and Hogmanay and international family meeting at Chaplaincy. It is their help that my wife and daughters gradually adjust themselves to the new environment and exposed ourselves to Scottish culture. They are warm hearted family and we never forget this kind hospitality.
