Frank Magama

Frank, from Kadoma, Zimbabwe is studying for a PhD in Molecular Genetics.

I chose to study here since the College of Life Sciences at Dundee has a good reputation and is one of the best institutions for Life Science in the UK. I am working on a project which will also help to reduce our dependence on crude oil.

Before I came to Dundee, I studied for my MSc in Leeds so I was quite aware of the practical issues of life and living in the UK.

Dundee is definitely the place to be if you want to study life sciences. The college is distinguished and continues to win accolades for excellence. Dundee as a city is nice, quiet and small so it's not hectic as other cities and the scenery is beautiful. It's also very easy to tour Scotland from Dundee.
