Edna, from Colombia, graduated in 2011 with an LLM in Energy Law and Policy.
I chose to study at Dundee University because it is an internationally renowned graduate school in the field of energy business.
Since graduation, I have been working as a senior "in house" lawyer in a multinational energy sector company. I have extensive experience in Commercial Law, Business Law, Economic Regulation and legal support for the implementation of projects.
In addition to providing legal advice to GAS NATURAL FENOSA Group in Colombia, in order to optimize their business strategy, my experience includes commission service at the Legal Department in Gas Natural SDG in Spain, Intellectual Property Consulting Services and Project Management services at United Nations Development Programme UNDP in Colombia.
My degree from Dundee has helped me in my professional career. The LLM provides an interdisciplinary background in legal, economic, technical and policy issues in the extractive and energy industry. This helps to meet the important challenges a company faces.
While I was here, I really enjoyed meeting people from all over the world.
