Arman Doskaliev

Arman Doskaliev, from Kazakhstan, graduated in 2009 with an MSc in Computing with International Business.

I came from Kazakhstan to do my MSc degree in Computing with International Business at University of Dundee from 2008 to 2009.

I remember when I first time arrived to Dundee I was pleasantly surprised with sunny weather after all the rumours I heard how Scotland was grey and cold. However I couldn't even imagine that it was only a small piece of impression of many which were awaiting me in the future.

During one year at University of Dundee at School of Computing I met a lot of friends from different countries which helped me to exchange my experience and start thinking wider. It was pleasure for me to gain the knowledge and take the lectures from high qualified professors and lecturers of University of Dundee.

Guest lectures of people from industry, doing research on projects, always approachable and careful staff this all was so brilliant and worthwhile. If I would have a chance to return back the time a thousand times, I'm definitely sure that I would choose time and again the School of Computing at University of Dundee.
