Discovering Degrees

We recognise that deciding whether or not to go to university is increasingly difficult. In particular, for many families money is a worry and thinking of going to university can be daunting. The array of subject choices and employment prospects that courses offer can be equally bewildering!

Discovering Degrees for Schools has been designed to help S2 school pupils begin to find their way through the maze of information, with an aim of helping them rule in (or out!) aiming to earn a degree when they leave school.

The course gives pupils an insight into degree-level study, but naturally there is no obligation to proceed to a degree course. The course runs from 9:40 am to 3.00 pm and is free of charge.

Discovering Degrees for Schools events take place between January and March.
