Public lecture - Tracking down killers in the brain: hot detective work or a stroke of luck? by Dame Nancy Rothwell
Brain disease such as stroke, trauma, haemorrhage and Alzheimer's are some of the greatest causes of disability and death in the Western world. In a public lecture on 19th March, Dame Nancy Rothwell will describe some recent discoveries in the causes of brain damage relating to these conditions, and discuss possible new treatments.
