Dr David Robb, Senior Lecturer in English, was awarded the Research Book of the Year Award for 2007, for his book Auld Campaigner: A Life of Alexander Scott.

Dundee winner of Scottish Arts Council Book of the Year
Kirsty Gunn, Professor of Creative Writing, was named winner of the Sundial Scottish Arts Council Book of the Year (2007) for The Boy and the Sea.
