We look forward to welcoming new international students at our International welcome events which we organise annually in September and January. This is a great opportunity for you to learn about the support available to you within the university and practical steps you should take on your arrival in Dundee. You will also be able to make friends, establish contacts and hopefully meet people from your own country as well as mingle with students of all nationalities including UK students, who have had experience of studying abroad and look forward to welcoming you to Dundee.
International students and their families can be assured of receiving confidential support and guidance in confidence on a wide range of issues from general enquires, visa renewal to personal difficulties and immigration issues. We provide a signposting and referral service so if you are unsure where you should go for help, contact the Student Advisory Service on Level 4, the Union. We organise welcome, orientation and social/ cultural events and trips throughout the year as well as provide hospitality links to Scottish families.
