5% Discount for Full Payment of Tuition Fees in Advance

A 5% discount applies in the following situations:

• international fee payer
• full time undergraduate, postgraduate taught or research course
• course not listed in exclusions below
• not in receipt of external scholarship/sponsorship (eg government / company)
• not registered under an Articulation Agreement – paying reduced fees (i.e. 3+1+1, Study Abroad students)
• first year of studies only

You must pay the tuition fees due in advance, the full amount must be in the University of Dundee's bank account by the relevant date:

• courses starting in September - full payment by 1st July
• courses starting in January - full payment by 15th November

The 5% discount will be refunded to your UK or home bank account, or refunded to your University of Dundee accommodation, four weeks after matriculation (registration) at the University of Dundee.

Where payment has been made by a 3rd party (e.g. family member) the discount will be returned to them unless we have written authorisation from them to refund to the student's UK bank account instead.

Once you have received an email from Admissions confirming your eligibility contact Sales Ledger – email: salesledgerenquiries@dundee.ac.uk, telephone 01382 386686 or visit the Cash office Monday to Friday between 09.00 and 13.00

Please note you will only receive a 5% discount on actual tuition fees due to the University – for example:-

Tuition Fees £10,000 awarded a UoD Scholarship £1500 = Tuition Fee due £8500  5% discount to be issued £425 (5% of £8500).  If applicant paid £10,000 in advance and then received a UoD Scholarship they would receive a refund of the £1500 plus the 5% discount at £425.

Exclusions

Students studying the following courses are not entitled to the 5% discount:

• All Art courses at DJCAD - BA, BDes, Master of Fine Art, Master of Design, MSc Animation and Visualisation
• All Dentistry courses
• All Nursing courses
• All Medical/Medicine courses (with the exception of Master of Public Health - MPH students are entitled to 5% discount)
• All study abroad, students on articulation agreements with their home Institution (ie 3+1+1) and Joint Degree programmes
