School of Engineering, Physics and Mathematics Scholarships

The School of Engineering, Physics and Mathematics is offering a number of scholarships to applicants for its Undergraduate and Taught Postgraduate programmes.You will find more information about eligibility, deadlines and how to apply below.

Postgraduate International

School of Engineering, Physics and Mathematics Postgraduate Scholarship

£1,500 Scholarship towards tuition fees for international postgraduate applicants

School of Engineering, Physics and Mathematics Articulation Agreement Scholarship

£3,000 Scholarship towards tuition fees for applicants applying through a recognised articulation agreement

How to Apply

Once you have been given an offer to study in the School of Engineering, Physics and Mathematics at the University of Dundee, we will send you an email telling you how to apply for a Scholarship.

You must complete the form, as soon as possible, and return it as per the instructions provided.

We will notify you after the closing date, to let you know whether you have been successful in being awarded a Scholarship or not. 

Deadline

The closing date for Scholarship applications for courses starting September 2013 is 1st July 2013, and for courses starting in January 2014 the closing date is 15th November 2013.

Restrictions

If you are being sponsored or are receiving a discount on your fees due to an articulation agreement, then you cannot apply for a University of Dundee Academic School scholarship.

You can apply for several scholarships but only one Scholarship towards tuition fees will be awarded.

5% discount on advance payment of tuition fees

A 5% discount on tuition fees is applicable for international applicants who pay the full amount (for the year), in advance, by a given deadline. Please visit our 5% discount webpage for full details.

Postgraduate Home/EU

There are no School scholarships currently available.

SAAS Postgraduate Students Allowances Scheme (PSAS)

SAAS Postgraduate Students Allowances Scheme (PSAS) provides some funding for some Scots-domiciled and non-UK EU postgraduate students studying most courses in the School of Engineering, Physics & Mathematics. For more information, visit our SAAS Postgraduate Funding webpage.

Undergraduate International

School of Engineering, Physics and Mathematics Undergraduate Scholarship

£1,500 Scholarship towards tuition fees, international undergraduate applicants, payable for each successful year of completion of studies

Dean's Scholarships for School of Engineering, Physics and Mathematics

These scholarships will be awarded for academic excellence, and are worth £3,000 per year of your course.

These are applicable to all MSci, MEng, BSc, BEng undergraduate degree courses in the School of Engineering, Physics and Mathematics.

How to Apply

Once you have been given an offer to study in the School of Engineering, Physics and Mathematics at the University of Dundee, we will send you an email inviting you to apply for a Scholarship via eVision.

We will notify you after the closing date, to let you know whether you have been successful in being awarded a Scholarship or not. 

Deadline

The closing date for Undergraduate Scholarship applications for courses starting September 2013 is Friday 13th April 2013.

IMechE Scholarships

The IMechE usually award scholarships to students who are currently studying A-levels, Highers/Advanced Highers subjects or an equivalent qualification who wish to commence an IMechE accredited degree. Information for courses starting in 2012 is not yet available, please check the IMechE website

The Lowson Memorial Scholarship

For students of Mathematics who have previously attended a school in Dundee or Broughty Ferry for three years and have not been in attendance at a university for a longer period than one session.
