School of Computing Scholarships

The School of Computing is offering a number of scholarships to applicants for its Undergraduate and Taught Postgraduate programmes.You will find more information about eligibility, deadlines and how to apply below.

Postgraduate International

School of Computing International Scholarship

£5,000 Scholarship towards tuition fees, based on academic merit

Alan Newell Scholarship

50% off tuition fee based on academic merit

Mark Grossi Scholarship

50% off tuition fee based on academic merit

School of Computing Family Scholarship

20% off tuition fee for students who have a family member (mother, father, son, daughter, brother, sister, spouse or partner) who is currently studying in, or who has graduated from, the School of Computing.

School of Computing Alumni Scholarship

20% off tuition fee for students who have graduated with a BSc from the School of Computing

How to Apply

Once you have been given an offer to study in the School of Computing at the University of Dundee, we will send you an email telling you how to apply for a Scholarship.

You must complete the form, as soon as possible, and return it as per the instructions provided.

We will notify you after the closing date, to let you know whether you have been successful in being awarded a Scholarship or not. 

Deadline

The closing date for Scholarship applications for courses starting September 2012 is Friday 1st June 2012.

Restrictions

If you are being sponsored or are receiving a discount on your fees due to an articulation agreement, then you cannot apply for a University of Dundee Academic School scholarship.

You can apply for several scholarships but only one Scholarship towards tuition fees will be awarded.

COTACyT

The University of Dundee has an agreement with COTACyT (Mexico) and will give School of Computing students funded through COTACyT a 10% discount on tuition fee. Visit the COTACyT website

5% discount on advance payment of tuition fees

A 5% discount on tuition fees is applicable for international applicants who pay the full amount (for the year), in advance, by a given deadline. Please visit our 5% discount webpage for full details.

20% off tuition fee for students who have a family member (mother, father, son, daughter, brother, sister, spouse or partner) who is currently studying in, or who has graduated from, the School of Computing.

School of Computing Alumni Scholarship

20% off tuition fee for students who have graduated with a BSc from the School of Computing

£375 for female entrant undergraduate students

Armistead and Laing Financial Support Scholarship

£375 for entrant undergraduate students in need of financial support, eg for childcare

£375 for entrant undergraduate students from a school in Tayside or Fife, based on academic merit
