Module Content

This module allows the student to explore a range of issues that relate to education in the patient care situation. The student is encouraged to explore the learning environment.

Aims of the Module

To develop and enhance the learning environment, within a patient care setting.

Assessment

The module assessment is practice focused and aims to facilitate the development of professional practice. Students are encouraged to engage with self-assessment activities throughout the learning experience. Formative assessment enables students to develop practice and academic process skills through tutor feed-back.

Student Support

A text-based study guide is used to support learning for this module. The study guide helps the student make essential links between theory and practice and prepare for the module assessment. A dynamic tutorial support system operates with a tutor link to the module. Students are encouraged to use the tutorial system according to their need.
