Paralymics volunteer : Accounting and Finance : University of Dundee

School of Business Student was volunteer at this year’s Paralympics in London

Christopher Parry, a 4^th year B.Acc student, was a volunteer at this year’s Paralympics in London. He was a Games Maker in the Event Services team within the Velodrome for the 4 days of the Paralympic track cycling. The event services team were responsible for taking tickets, directing spectators and checking accreditation. Chris was stationed in the seating bowl assisting spectators and also on the entrance to the field of play checking accreditation. As well as seeing lots of the action he met Sarah Storey, Jody Cundy and other members of the British team. At the end of the 4 days the volunteers were allowed down on to the track as a reward for our hard work. Chris had a brilliant time and have loads of fantastic memories from this once in a lifetime opportunity.
