4th Year Students visit London

29th - 30th March: Professor David Power and Dr. Alison Fox from the School of Business accompanied a group of 17 BAcc and BFin 4th year students on a trip to various financial institutions in London. In particular, the group visited the Bank of England where they had a talk and a tour of the museum, the London Metal Exchange to see traders dealing and attended a presentation at the Centre for Financial Regulation. In addition, the students were given a talk about risk analysis and careers advice for those interested in working in the financial sector by an alumnus of the University (Chris Short) at Deutch Bank's London office.
