Miriam and Marta came from University of Burgos, Spain to study one year of their degree here in the School of Accounting & Finance.
What they said about being here
"It was a really enriching academic and personal experience . There was an international atmosphere, with people from all around the world."
What did it lead to?
"We were awarded with a Scholarship which allowed us to take part in a interview competition. Thanks to Christine Helliar, we were able to interview Hugh Shields, Director Finance of Barclays Capital in London. Never before had we thought that we could interview such a personality in Finance. We realized then that with effort, we could reach the top (the skyscrapers of Canary Wharf!)."
What are they doing now?
"Once we were graduated, we decided to start our professional career in Auditing. We are currently working in PriceWaterHouse and Ernst & Young respectively."
And finally....
"Many thanks to all these people who really helped us when were away from home, in a different country, speaking a different language and facing up to new and different situations. Dundee will always be part of the successes of our life."
