The School of Accounting & Finance are pleased to announce scholarships for continuing students from January 2010.
Taught Postgraduate to PhD
a) Available to students (subject to being accepted on PhD Programme) completing a taught Masters
programme within the School of Accounting & Finance that exempts students from any formal
training requirements.
Overseas/Home/EU Student
- (i) with overall distinction, award equal to 30% of fees for each year of studies up to 3 years (or 5
years in the case of part-time studies);
- (ii) with A in the dissertation, award equal to 15% of fees for each year of studies up to 3 years
(or 5 years in the case of part-time studies);
- (iii) with passes (not falling in categories (i) or (ii)) award equal to 10% of fees for 3 years (or 5
years in the case of part-time studies).
b) Available to students (subject to being accepted on PhD Programme) completing a Masters
programme within the School of Accounting & Finance that does not exempt students from formal
training requirements.
Overseas/Home/EU Student
- (i) with overall distinction, award equal to 30% of fees for each year of studies up to 3 years (or 5
years in the case of part-time studies);
- (ii) with A in the dissertation, award equal to 15% of fees for each year of studies up to 3 years
(or 5 years in the case of part-time studies);
- (iii) with passes (not falling in categories (i) or (ii)) award equal to 10% of fees for 3 years (or 5
years in the case of part-time studies).
2. Undergraduate to Masters
Available to students (subject to being accepted on the Masters programmes) completing
undergraduate programmes within the School of Accounting & Finance
Overseas/Home/EU Student
- (i) with first class honours, award equal to 50% of fees.
- (ii) with upper second class honours, award equal to 30% of fees.
- (iii) With lower second class honours, award equal to 20% of fees.
