General Information

The following information applies to all of our student accommodation locations. For more information about specific accommodation locations use the left hand menu.

Smoking	Smoking is prohibited in all student residences including bedrooms.
Bedroom/shower & toilet	Each bedroom has a bed with mattress, desk, chair, wardrobe, and bookshelf. Each bedroom has its own ensuite shower and toilet.
Bedroom size	A Standard room is 13 square metres approximately. A Premier room is 15 square metres approximately. Ensuite shower room included.
Computer Connections	Each bedroom is fitted with a computer point, which can be connected to the University computer network. Further information relating to connection charges and associated services can be found here Information and Communication Services (ICS).
Kitchen	Each flat has its own fitted kitchen with cooker, hob, microwave, kettle, fridge freezer and dining area.
Cleaning	A limited service is provided, focusing on common stairwells and building entrances. Flat kitchens and bedrooms will be inspected periodically. Residents are expected to follow instructions given by the Manager in regard to cleanliness. Each resident is responsible for ensuring that the flat and their bedroom & ensuite shower/toilet is kept to a reasonable level of cleanliness. A vacuum cleaner is available in each flat for residents use.
Telephones	Each flat is equipped with a phone, which enables 999 emergency calls only.
Laundry	A coin-operated laundry is available on site. An iron and ironing table is available in each flat.
What you will need to bring with you	Duvet & duvet cover, bed sheet, pillow & pillow cover (Bedding Starter Pack can be purchased on arrival, subject to availability); dishes, cutlery, pots and cooking utensils, personal washing materials and towels; dish cloth and cleaning materials; clothes hangers; headphones for radios/stereo equipment; a television licence if you intend to use a television within your room or flat. LUGGAGE – Please arrange for any luggage being sent separately to be delivered after your arrival.
