Following discussions between the University's external solicitors Dundas and Wilson and the Director of Legal Services, we are pleased to announce a new annual programme of legal awareness raising sessions and workshops for staff. A session will be held each month on a topical subject matter. A copy of the programme is now available.
The initial session (for the Directors' Group) will take place on 12 June 2012 on the Bribery Act and governance issues. The format will normally be a 90 minute session with a short informative overview followed by an interactive session of questions and answers.
The numbers for each session in this pilot will be limited to 30, so please book well in advance to confirm your interest in a particular session.
