1 Anonymous marking of written degree examinations is University policy.
2. Given the introduction by the Higher Education Statistical Agency (HESA) of nine digit personal student identification numbers (matriculation numbers) the examination answer books are to be re-designed to simplify anonymisation of scripts in departments. These answer books should be available for the May/June 1995 diet of examinations.
