Sub-Committee on the Use of Communication & Information Technology (C & IT) in Learning & Teaching Remit

Remit

The Sub-Committee's remit covers the following areas:

• advising the University on its strategy in C & IT in learning & teaching;
• keeping abreast of developments in the application of C & IT to learning and teaching;
• disseminating such information and acting as a 'ginger group' to encourage take up in the University;
• considering how C & IT might be used to enhance the effectiveness of learning and teaching activities in a period of declining units of resource.

The Sub-Committee meets four times during the academic session, twice per semester, and reports to the Learning & Teaching Committee.
