The University of Dundee hosted the above conference on Tuesday 10 November 2009 at West Park Conference Centre.
The Conference was designed to inspire debate about mediation within Higher and Further Education in Scotland.
Over 130 delegates from over 47 different institutions from around Scotland attended the event which was held in association with Scottish Mediation Network, Universities Scotland, Scotland's Colleges, STUC and the Scottish Funding Council

The first opening address was given by Mark Batho, Chief Executive, Scottish Funding Council.
Attached is a copy of the second opening address which was given by Ewan Malcolm, Patron, Scottish Mediation Network on "The potential of mediation to transform dispute resolution" along with his powerpoint presentation.
Seven workshops were held during the day and details regarding each one is available to download.
