Mr Richmond is a former number one rated Healthcare stockbroking analyst in the City of London. He started his career at Robert Fleming & Company - a Merchant Bank of Dundee origin - before moving to UBS Phillips & Drew and then partnership at Collins Stewart. More recently he was a director of Covenant Healthcare, an independent hospital provider with interests in both Scotland and England.
Mr Richmond is Vice Chair of the Scottish Ambulance Service and a non-executive member of NHS Tayside. He is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh, is married with two children and lives in Angus.
