Dr Howard Marriage

Dr Howard Marriage is one of the leading biotechnologists currently based in Scotland. He was recruited from the Genzyme corporation to Cyclacel as Director of Research Operations & Business Development in 1998. He was elected to the Cyclacel Board in 1999 and later became its Executive Director of Business Development Officer. During this time Cyclacel raised in excess of $100 million in private equity, the largest venture capital investment in any UK biotechnology company of the time. After leaving Cyclacel in September 2004, he formed Biotech Innovation & Future Health (www.bifhit.com) which works with Universities, Region Development Agencies and companies in Scotland and Northern England. He is based and settled in Fife.
