What is it?

PLUS@Dundee stands for Personal Learning for University Success and is a new concept that has been initiated to help our new students meet the new exciting challenges and discoveries of University life with enthusiasm reflecting their commitment to successful study.

PLUS@Dundee aims to help you settle into your programme of study, the University campus and to the city. A full programme of events - social, sporting and academic - will complement the administrative processes so that you can enjoy the experience of meeting new people, finding your way around the campus hosted by experienced student ambassadors, and meeting the staff in the School that will be your 'academic home' for the duration of your stay in Dundee.

The Welcome Week (Monday 6 - 12 September 2010; see the Welcome Week 2010 website) includes details of a wide range of events run by the University in partnership with Dundee University Students' Association (DUSA), and is a key element of PLUS@Dundee. There is something to suit all interests and tastes and we hope that PLUS@Dundee will set you off on your studies as a member of our University community on one of the most vibrant campuses in Scotland.

Since PLUS@Dundee is a new project, it will develop as we evaluate student responses.
