Some things will be similar to what you would do in your own country but some things may differ quite significantly. We hope that this site will give you some insight to these differences and tips about how you can adapt to the learning environment that is new to you.
If you are an international student contemplating coming to the University of Dundee to continue your academic studies, then you may wish to develop your English language before you begin your degree course. We offer a 10-week pre-sessional course for students who hold conditional offers and a 4-week 'refresher' pre-sessional course for students who hold unconditional offers (pre-sessional course details).
You can continue to develop your English language by participating in our English Language Support Programme in semester 1 or 2.
