International Students

If you are new to studying at a university in the United Kingdom, then the many links shown under the above 'Undergraduate Students' and 'Postgraduate Students' web areas will help you to learn more about approaches to study that you will meet in your course here. Some things will be similar to what you would do in your own country but some things may differ quite significantly. We hope that this site will give you some insight to these differences and tips about how you can adapt to the learning environment that is new to you.

English Language Teaching and Learning for International Students at the University of Dundee

If you are an international student contemplating coming to the University of Dundee to continue your academic studies, then you may wish to develop your English language before you begin your degree course. We offer a 10-week pre-sessional course for students who hold conditional offers and a 4-week 'refresher' pre-sessional course for students who hold unconditional offers (pre-sessional course details).

You can continue to develop your English language by participating in our English Language Support Programme in semester 1 or 2.

You will need to take an online assessment test to join the programme. Test details

If you are an international student you might be interested in two new short courses starting soon.
